A few more days of patience….After 18 month , the new site « Les 9 Ecluses of Fonseranes » should re-open to the public !

This major touristic spot, located in Béziers and visited by more than 400 000  people per year  should eventually open on the very next days.

First touristic site in the area of Herault, 3^rd most famous site in Languedoc after the very famous Pont du Gard and  Carcassonne Cité, The 9 Locks of Fonseranes are one of  the major work on the Canal du Midi. Built in the 17^th century, Pierre Paul Riquet was  the creator and ingineer of  the world famous « Canal du midi » . The « 9 Locks of Fonseranes » are considered as his most famous master piece.

-by walking : about 25 minutes from the Hotel

-by « Le Petit Train »(toursistic train )  leaving from the city center (departure point : 7 minutes from L’Hotel Particulier Béziers)

-by car : safe secured parking on the spot (extra charge)
